Safety management system for ship electrical equipment

1. Management requirements

1)General safety requirements for electrical work 4.1.1 Operators

a. Requirements for electricians of low-voltage ships below 1KV: 18 years of age or older, in good health, no contraindications, passed safety technical training and assessment, obtained special work permits in the electric work industry, and worked on the job.

b. Electrician requirements for high-voltage ships below 10KV: In addition to meeting the requirements of low-voltage electricians, a high-voltage electrician's network access permit should be obtained to work on duty.

C. Before operation, wear labor protection equipment as required; check the integrity of the tools used; conduct special safety clarifications and master the essentials of construction and safety requirements.

d. Strictly follow the requirements of the implementation process and operating procedures during the operation, and follow the instructions to operate step by step and item by item.

2)Planning and declaration before construction

a. Necessary safety planning should be carried out for electrical operations, analysis of the risks during the operation and the safety and reliability of the safety measures taken to ensure the safety of operations.

b. Electrical work should be declared at the single-ship VSCC meeting to specify the construction time and safety requirements.

3)Safety requirements for power distribution boards

1. The shore power cord should be properly drawn and effectively protected, with eye-catching warning signs.

2. An air switch should be installed between the shore power supply and the switchboard. Switches that are not in use should cut off the circuit or take precautionary measures for closure.

3. Before the power distribution board is installed properly, it should be checked and confirmed, and the power can be sent only after meeting the safety requirements.

4. Before the power distribution board is installed properly, it should be checked and confirmed, and the power can be sent only after meeting the safety requirements. 4.3 Inspection and confirmation of initial power transmission of electrical equipment

5. The power transmission system, equipment, and lines should be completed and tested to meet the process requirements. 4.3.2 Sundries and combustibles inside the power transmission equipment and around the power transmission lines should be cleaned up. 4.3.3 The warning signs and warning areas of the power transmission system, equipment, lines should be set in place.

6. Safety requirements for distribution boards and electrical equipment after power is supplied

7. Immediately check the lines and equipment for abnormalities, and deal with them in time if any abnormalities are found.

8. Designate a special person to perform on-duty management, and make operational records and monitoring. 4.4.3 All kinds of switches should be operated by full-time personnel, and other personnel are strictly prohibited to operate.

4)Safety requirements for high-voltage electrical operations

1. Wiring of equipment

①Before wiring

a Disconnect the start button of the high-voltage generator, close the start air valve, the start button and the main switch should be hung with a warning sign prohibiting power transmission, and a temporary barrier should be set up at the entrance of the passage.

b. Equipment such as voltage transformers and transformers should be tested for electricity.

c. After the withstand voltage test, the high-voltage cable should be fully discharged and tested.

② Wiring requirements

The wiring of the equipment should be connected to the load first, then the transformer, and finally to the power supply
